Pianist
Although Emily Lapisardi's academic degrees are in vocal performance and sacred music/organ, she has played the piano since childhood and has extensive experience both as a performer and pedagogue.

Her first-person lecture recital as Clara Schumann includes works by that pioneering female composer and pianist, as well as pieces by Robert Schumann and Johannes Brahms. Learn more here. As part of her research on the music of the Harmony Society, she has performed pianistic works from the archives of Old Economy Village at all three Harmonist historic sites.

Emily Lapisardi's performances and arrangements are showcased in Eternity Box Films' feature film Wieland, for which she also served as historical music advisor. Watch the full film here.

She teaches private piano lessons for the Sacred Music Institute of America and group adult piano classes for Orange-Ulster BOCES. Emily previously served on the faculty of Market Street Academy in Brownsville, PA.
