Emily Lapisardi and her late mother Jacqueline founded Rue de la Paix Reproductions in 2010. We specialize in historical reproduction clothing, accessories, and garments for reenactors and film productions and are especially known for reproduction Jenny Lind-style hand fans.

The Blithedale Romance
Rue de la Paix Reproductions spearheaded the wardrobe department for Eternity Box Films' feature film adaptation of Nathaniel Hawthorne's The Blithedale Romance. We made many of the garments and accessories and sourced others from our colleagues.

Our work has been featured in several other film and TV projects, including Wieland, Kecksburg, Spies in Crinoline, Gore Orphanage, and Transubstantiation.
Lectures and workshops
We also offer fashion history lectures, displays, and workshops for museums, historical societies, and conferences. Topics include: mourning customs, 19th century fans, fashion shows, and dressing demonstrations for a range of historical periods.

We are one of only a handful of companies worldwide offering authentic reproduction fans based on mid-nineteenth century originals. We also restore period fans.
