Pedagogue

Emily teaches groups courses in music theory, the history of sacred music, and Gregorian chant, as well as private lessons in voice, piano, and conducting, for the Sacred Music Institute of America.

As Director of Musical Activities at the Catholic Chapel at the United States Military Academy, she works with singers and instrumentalists of all ages (children, Cadets, and staff/faculty), including offering individualized coaching in voice, organ, music theory, and carillon.  Emily previously taught at Market Street Academy and through the West Virginia University Community Music Program; several of her students have gone on to receive full collegiate scholarships in music.  She is also a certified Kindermusik educator.
