Conductor

Emily Lapisardi is the Director of Musical Activities at the Catholic Chapel of the United States Military Academy, where she directs the West Point Catholic Choir for services at West Point and special events elsewhere, including the nationally-televised funeral liturgies of Medal of Honor Recipient Chaplain Emil Kapaun.  She was also the founding director of the Old Economy Singers, a period music ensemble dedicated to performing the rich repertoire of Old Economy Village's music archives.  She holds a bachelor's degree in vocal performance and a master's degree in sacred music.  Emily studied conducting with Dr. Kathleen Shannon and chironomy (conducting Gregorian chant) with Sr. Marie-Agatha Ozah and Wilko Brouwers.
